Boys’ Latin may have been rusty, but they played well. Lake Highland played well, too, in a losing effort, but it was clear the Highlanders have more in the tank and will be a contender for the state title. Both teams got what each wanted – Boys’ Latin a good early season game and Lake Highland a good mid-season barometer of where this team stands.
