via press release 2016 IWLCA Division I Poll – April 18, 2016The IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll is topped by Maryland (14-0) for the eleventh straight week. Florida (14-1), North Carolina (12-2), and Syracuse (12-4) follow the Terps, and are joined in the top five by Southern California (14-0). Notre Dame and Stony Brook each bumped up one position, while Louisville fell to eighth after suffering losses to North Carolina and Virginia. Cornell enters the poll for the first time this week in the #20 position. Notable matchups on tap this week include #11 Virginia at #1 Maryland, #13 Duke at #3 North Carolina, #4 Syracuse at #20 Cornell, and fifth ranked Southern California on the road at #6 Notre Dame, and at home against #9 Stanford.
