via the IWLCA web site 2018 IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll – March 5, 2018 Stony Brook University (4-0) held onto the top spot in the IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll after taking down Northwestern 15-10 in a road contest over the weekend. Maryland (4-1) stays put at number two, while Florida (4-1) and Boston College (7-0) move into the third and fourth position. North Carolina (3-2) drops to #5 after losing to Florida. The University of Virginia (5-0) used a one-goal victory over Syracuse to jump up to the sixth spot in the poll. James Madison (5-0) remains at #7, and Syracuse (3-1), Northwestern (4-2), and Towson (3-0) round out the top 10.Top-25 action this week starts off on Wednesday when #20 Denver hosts Virginia Tech (#24), Penn State (#17) visits #7 James Madison, Loyola (#16) welcomes #10 Towson to campus, Boston College (#4) and Southern California (#12) tangle on the west coast, and #3 Florida visits the Carrier Dome to face Syracuse (#8). The weekend begins on Friday when Stanford (#18) faces #19 Colorado, then continues with Princeton (#14) at Loyola, and #5 North Carolina at Virginia (#6) on Saturday. Matchups on Sunday include #2 Maryland at Syracuse and Notre Dame (#15) at Virginia Tech.
