Who:  Jacksonville Lacrosse Club, Jacksonville Bullies and Community PedsCareWhat: Jacksonville Lacrosse Club’s Second Annual Community PedsCare Benefit TournamentWhen: Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.(Jacksonville Bullies Training Camp from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.)Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, noon to 5 p.m.Where: Landrum Middle School230 Landrum LanePonte Vedra, FLWhy:  Jacksonville Lacrosse Club involves tournament age athletes from the Jacksonville areain a two-day event.  Proceeds benefit Community PedsCare, a pediatric palliative and hospicecare program of Community  Hospice of Northeast Florida that helps children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.During the event, each lacrosse team is assigned a patient and family from the Community PedsCare program as honorary guests on each sideline.Cost:  The event is free, but the club does suggest that spectators make a $10 donation at the Community PedsCare tent and receive $10 in Moe’s Bucks valid at any Moe’s Southwest Grill. Note:  The new North American Lacrosse League (NALL) Franchise, the Jacksonville Bullies, will conduct a training camp during the event.
