Jordan Wolf, Josh Hawkins and Ryan Brown Earn Week 10 MLL Awards

via press release 2016 MLL Awards and Updates: Week 10 Warrior Offensive Player of the WeekJordan Wolf continues to shine this season and his performance this weekend was nothing less. He scored four goals and added three assists in Rochester’s victory over Ohio. Wolf has tallied four points or more in each game this season. Warrior Defensive Player of the WeekJosh Hawkins stood out across all areas of the field and showed he can be a threat both offensively and defensively. Along with scoring three goals, Hawkins also provided major defensive power causing two turnovers and picking up five groundballs. Cascade Rookie of the WeekRyan Brown had an outstanding performance Saturday night scoring eight points on six goals, including a two-pointer, and one assist. This rookie continues to make his mark on the League and has racked up 14 points so far in just four games. Boston Cannons 17Chesapeake Bayhawks 14Will Manny scored his 100th career goal in the victory over the Bayhawks. Rookie Challen Rodgers and Josh Hawkins each tallied three goals. Brendan Mundorf led Chesapeake with 7 goals while Brian Phipps had 19 saves. Myles Jones made his Bayhawks debut.Coca-Cola Player of the Game: Challen Rogers Denver Outlaws 20New York Lizards 16The Outlaws frustrated a Lizards team to earn their third win of the season. Greg Gurenlian was not playing due to an injury. Wes Berg scored a game-high 4 goals while rookies Jack Kelly and Bailey Tills shifted the momentum in the Outlaws’ favor.Coca-Cola Player of the Game: Jack Kelly Rochester Rattlers 16Ohio Machine 13Rochester is the hottest team in the League with their fifth straight win. Ty Thompson had the hot hand as he scored 3 goals in a 5-1 4th quarter run to seal the Rattlers’ victory in a contested matchup that appeared to get a little chippy at times.Coca-Cola Player of the Game: Jordan Wolf Charlotte Hounds 20Atlanta Blaze 14The Hounds scored three straight goals after halftime to secure the lead and the win. Kevin Rice tallied 8 points (5G, 3A) for the Blaze but his efforts fell short against Charlotte’s offensive power.
