Florida Launch attackman Kieran McArdle was named the Warrior Offensive Player of the Week for Week 14. Florida’s 18-17 win over the Cannons on Saturday night clinched the franchise’s first ever trip to the MLL postseason.McArdle, 25, matched his season high with eight points (4 goals, 4 assists) in Florida’s win. After the Launch surrendered a 10-goal lead, McArdle scored the game-tying goal 7:55 into the fourth quarter. Two minutes later, he threaded a pass to teammate Nick Mariano, who scored the game-winning goal and cemented the win. McArdle leads the Launch with 46 points on the season and is tied for the second-most points in the league despite appearing in only 10 games. His 32 goals are tied for the third-most in MLL.This marks McArdle’s first weekly award this season and he joins Dylan Molloy as the only Launch players to win Warrior Offensive Player of the Week.
