via MLL press releases Offensive Player of the WeekBOSTON (June 26, 2017) – Ohio Machine attackman Marcus Holman was named the Warrior Offensive Player of the Week for Week 10. The Machine defeated the Cannons on Thursday night in overtime and followed that with a 15-13 win over Chesapeake on Saturday.Holman, 26, scored the game-winning goal against Boston on Thursday night, his fifth goal of the evening and he also had two assists in the game. Two nights later, his hat trick helped the Machine beat the Bayhawks. Holman’s 10-point weekend moved him into a tie with Charlotte’s John Haus for the most points in the league this season (36) and his 26 goals are second only to Ryan Brown’s 27. Holman is averaging 4.5 points per game through eight contests.Holman joins Mark Cockerton (Week 2) as Ohio players who have won the Warrior Offensive Player of the Week in 2017. Previous Winners

 Defensive Player of the WeekBOSTON (June 26, 2017) – Atlanta Blaze longstick midfielder Scott Ratliff was named the Warrior Defensive Player of the Week for Week 10. Ratliff and the Blaze earned an overtime win over the Rattlers, 14-13, on Saturday night.The 26-year-old Ratliff had two assists, picked up six groundballs and caused two turnovers in Atlanta’s third win of the season. In eight games for the Blaze this season, Ratliff has four goals, including a two-pointer, three assists and 14 caused turnovers. His 35 groundballs are the most on the team and rank 11th in the league. An Atlanta native, Ratliff had 20 points (9 goals, 4 two-pointers, 7 assists) last year for the Blaze.Ratliff is the first Atlanta player to win Warrior Defensive Player of the Week this season. Previous Winners

 Rookie of the WeekBOSTON (June 24, 2017) — Denver Outlaws attackman Gavin McBride was named the Cascade Rookie of the Week for Week 10.  McBride was a key player in the Outlaws comeback and ultimate 14-13 win over the Lizards at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Saturday.McBride, 23, recorded four points (3 goals, 1 assist), including a hat trick in his professional debut. All three goals came in the fourth quarter and were critical for the Outlaws comeback as McBride netted both the go-ahead goal with nine minutes left as well as the final goal of the game to solidify the win. The Outlaws selected McBride in the fifth round of the 2017 MLL Collegiate Draft out of Princeton.McBride is first from the Denver Outlaws to earn Cascade Rookie of the Week honors this season.Previous Winners
