MLL Warrior Offensive Player of the Week: James Pannell

via press release – photo via MLL BOSTON (June 5, 2017) – Atlanta Blaze attackman James Pannell was named the Warrior Offensive Player of the Week for Week 7. Pannell and the Blaze snapped a two-game losing streak on Saturday after a 19-18 victory against the Charlotte Hounds.
Pannell, 22, scored a season-high seven points, with four goals and two assists, and made his first two-point goal of the season. Making his pro-debut in 2016 with the New York Lizards, Pannell moved to the Atlanta Blaze before the start of the 2017 season and has racked up a total of 13 points so far. Pannell is the first player from the Blaze to be named the Warrior Player of the Week during the 2017 season.His efforts on Saturday night also earned him the Coca-Cola Player of the Game.
