District 25 – Oxbridge hostsOxbridge vs Cardinal NewmanWellington vs Palm Beach CentralOxbridge outscored the three teams 55-13This is Oxbridge all the way District 26 – Boca Raton hostsSaint Andrew’s vs American Heritage/BocaSJP II vs Boca RatonSJP II finished strong and Boca did not.  SJP won the first game by 3 at Boca.  Another close game on tap.  SJP had a sneaky good year.But as always, there’s the final path over on Jog Road and it’s been since before I moved to Florida that SJP won that game.  SA goes on. District 27 – Pine Crest hostsPine Crest vs Cardinal GibbonsStoneman Douglas vs North Broward PrepCongrats to NBP for getting back to the district playoff but that’s as far as it goes.  PC has a fantastic record but didn’t come close to playing Stoneman’s schedule.  It will be close for a while but Stoneman pulls away to win this one. District 28 – St. Thomas hostsSTA vs South PlantationUniversity vs American Heritage/PlantationThe gap is narrowing between AH/P and STA but this isn’t the year the lines intersect.The defending state champs go on to the brackets. District 29 – Pembroke Pines hostsArchbishop McCarthy vs Western-DavieCooper City vs West BrowardCooper City is one of the biggest surprises this season.  Cypress Bay is the biggest disappointment.But Archbishop McCarthy has the best win of the season for anyone in this district.  The confidence from their late season should carry them through District 30 – Columbus hostsBelen Jesuit vs Miami Country DayRansom Everglades vs Columbus CatholicAs the season went on Belen started to assert themselves and they finished the year strong.  The Columbus Catholic program has fallen on hard times but did hold Belen to a 4-2 victory.  Their home field will cause Belen trouble with this long time rivalry in all sports.Belen should ride their late season surge to victory here. District 31 – Gulliver hostsGulliver Prep vs Miami-KillianMiami Palmetto vs Coral ReefMiami-Palmetto almost shocked GP at Gulliver last week.  Can’t believe that GP didn’t learn from that one.GP moves on but Palmetto might give them another scare. District 32 – Key West hostsKey West vs Florida ChristianWestminster Christian vs Coral ShoresKey West ran through everyone this year and that will continue That leaves the following first round matchups Oxbridge vs SAStoneman Douglas vs STAArchbishop McCarthy vs Belen JesuitGulliver Prep vs Key West
